Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to contribute to causes and communities that align with my values.
One of the most rewarding experiences has been my work with the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST), NHS Trust. where, as a member of the Community Engagement Group (CEG), I support the work of the Patient and Public Involvement team to improve patient experiences. In the same spirit of service, I also volunteer my services to the British Red Cross weekly, as a Project Volunteer supporting refugees in London.
Back home, I’ve been deeply involved with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the association which oversees the affairs of legal practitioners in Nigeria. I started out my service, as the Secretary of the Lawyers in the Media Forum, then rose up the lead the forum as Chairperson. I was later appointed to serve as Committee Head, for Media & Publicity at the NBA Section on Business Law, where I led several initiatives to amplify the impact of conferences and events, ensuring they reached a wider audience and left a lasting legacy.
My last service role, which ended in August 2024, was to the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), where I was first appointed to serve as head of the media & Publicity committee (Fromm 2020-2022 and then elected as the Publicity Secretary from 2022-2024.
These experiences have taught me that service is not just an obligation—it’s an opportunity. An opportunity to connect, to inspire, and to create a ripple effect of positive change.
